Books 2 Inspire
Parties 2 Inspire promotes child literacy through leading lively book parties at local libraries and homeless shelters. We were very successful at starting the Jammin' Book Party at the Lorton Community Library October 2013 thru January 2015. We were able to invite two authors, professionals, and average about 10 - 15 kids per month. It is our desire for kids to develop a passion for reading. We offer a fun and creative atmosphere to explore books, play games, and have snacks. We invite authors and professionals to our book parties to bring our books to life. Next Venture: Parties 2 Inspire introduces our FEROCIOUS READING CLUB! It is our goal to distribute new or gently used books at our homeless shelter parties. We desire our young readers to develop a ferocious appetite for reading and increase child literacy.
